We've been here for almost 20 years.
A multi-generational, Spirit-filled church serving Tacoma's Russian-speaking community — through different seasons, different names, the same mission.

Pastor Roman Mitin
Roman has spent more than eighteen years in pastoral ministry. He graduated from the Melchizedek Church leadership school and, in 2006, planted Peniel Church — the community that, over time, grew into what is now My Home Church.
He started serving this community long before this building. Through different seasons and different names, his work has been the same: open the Bible, teach what's there, pray for people in person, and trust the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do.
Roman is married and reads every message sent through the contact form on this site personally.
A multi-generational family.
In 2006 a small group of Russian-speaking believers in the Greater Seattle area began meeting together as Peniel Church under the leadership of Pastor Roman Mitin. The community grew, seasons changed, and the church eventually took the name it carries today: My Home Church — three words, the literal idea. A church that feels like home, because for many of our members it is.
Our tradition is non-denominational, Charismatic, Spirit-filled, and Pentecostal in expression. That means we believe the Holy Spirit still moves today the way He moved in the book of Acts, and we don't apologize for praying like we believe that. It also means our Sundays are warm, not staged.
We're not a megachurch. We're not a startup church. We're a multi-generational family that has weathered enough years to know what we believe and who we are — and we're open to anyone who'd like to come and see for themselves.
